How long do I need to work with Cathy?
People work with Cathy for one session or for many sessions. She does not want you to begin to depend upon her for answers. She does not have the answers. Cathy sees herself as someone that shows you the path. You then walk on it yourself. She is there if you need her, but she will work with you to travel your own path.
I don't live in Houston. Can I work with Cathy on the telephone?
Cathy can do coaching, but not therapy, on the telephone. She can help you release congested energy and facilitate your own self-healing through Spiritual Pathwork, Soul Healing or Spiritual Lovefare. She can, also, channel messages from spiritual beings for you. She channels, among others, Mother Mary, Quan Yin, Melchizedek, Thoth and Sananda.
An office visit is required by her license if you need to discuss the interpersonal and personal dynamics surrounding depression, anxiety, abuse, etc. Frequently, the long-term feelings associated with issues can be changed through Spiritual Pathwork, Soul Healing or Spiritual Lovefare without delving into the therapeutic process. Cathy has seen much healing occur without her needing to know what was actually occurring within the client. Contact her at and she will make arrangements with you.
Will Cathy work with groups of people?
Yes, she is always glad to present workshops to groups of people. Contact her to make arrangements. E-Mail: Cathy@OdysseytoWholeness.com.
How is payment handled?
At this time payment is by check, money order or cash payable at time of service.
Do you take insurance?
I am not on any networks. I use alternative and complementary methods. Most, if not all, traditional insurance companies would not understand what I do and would want to tell me how to do it. Also, I do not like to pigeon-hole someone into a diagnosis.
I am a licensed therapist. Those who have a PPO and who either come to my office or I do a home visit may apply for insurance through their provider. After deductible, PPO’s usually pay around 50% of their "customary and reasonable fees." I will give you the necessary receipt.
You need to be aware that any receipt for insurance purposes will have a diagnosis number on it. You need to be sure you want that diagnosis in an unsecured place, which is true for all insurance information, no matter what they say.
Do you take Medicare or Medicaid?
No. I would have to hire someone to do the paperwork for me. If someone on Medicare or Medicaid wishes to use my services, I am willing to work something out with them.
